Tree Planting on Corncrake

Bridport Tree Group will be providing some 200 trees for planting on Corncrake – They are happy to help get the majority of trees in the ground but are also keen to leave some trees for local volunteers to plant.

Operating under covid guidelines the Tree Group will run a planting session from 10-12 on Saturday 20th March. They bring their own tools and are allocated a number of trees for planting whilst keeping socially distanced.

We would like to invite Village volunteers to come along to help plant trees from 12 noon to 14.00 or until we get all trees in the ground.  Please bring your own spade, you will be given 5 trees to plant to the planting plan. Please keep social distance and wear a face covering.
