Council achieves DAPTC Double Star Award
Burton Bradstock Parish Council has achieved a Double Star Award from the Dorset Association of Parish and Town Councils for supporting the development and training of both elected members and employees.
DAPTC Chief Executive Neil Wedge says: “Last year DAPTC recorded a significant increase in the number of member councils attending training and the number of delegates surged too. This was partly due to our online provision which saves money and time; as well as new topics and projects delivered in conjunction with the unitary authorities.
“As we progress further into 2022 and early 2023 we will look to blend the modes of delivery to reintroduce face to face training as well as develop further our webinars and e-learning offer.”
